Beyond the freedom of speech issue

Sorry to hear about this. I’m of two minds about it. I’d be happy to sign a statement opposing the state actions in bringing Espada to trial for his comments, an intolerable interference with freedom of speech, but the manifesto goes into matters I know nothing about and calls for a general expression of solidarity, which goes beyond the freedom of speech issue.
